댄스에 관심이 있는 조합원들께 알려드립니다.
아래와 같이 부대에서 댄스강습 (스포츠 댄스 포함)을 지난 8년동안 해오셨다고 합니다만, 모르는 분이 많은것 같아서 안내 드립니다. 기존에는 매주 월요일 오후 7시나 8시경에 강습을 해왔습니다만, 한국인 수강생들을 위하여 5시에 강의를 시작해 보려고 한답니다.
일반적으로 중상급자들이 수강을 하는 편이지만 완전초보자들도 인원만 충족되면 (3~5명) 댄스 종목, 시간 및 장소등을 정하여 교습이 가능하다고 합니다.
수강료는 한 세션 (1시간정도)에 9달러 혹은 1만원이며, 월회비를 내놓고 교습에 빠질경우 경제적인 손해(?)를 보지 않게 당일수납 운영 합니다. (장기 약정시 금액조정도 가능하다고 합니다)
관심있으신 분들은 다음주 월요일, 1월 9일 오후 5시에 McPherson 커뮤니티 센터 104호실 미팅에 참석하셔서 설명을 들어보시기 바랍니다. 수강등록을 하지 않고 미팅에만 참석하시는 분들도 대환영합니다.

Lee Chun Geum and myself have been teaching all types of dancing on the base, including Dance Sports, for the past 8 years. We teach under a 51 FSS contract. Our classes have always been offered at 7 or 8 pm and very few Koreans have taken our classes. Recently, in talking with Koreans interested in learning to increase their dancing skills, they suggested that we offer classes at 5 pm, so we are going to try it.
We propose having an introductory meeting of persons interested in attending these dance classes, and the meeting is scheduled for Monday, 9 January 2017, at 5pm in Room 104 of the McPherson Community Center, next to the Library. At the meeting we will discuss which dances to teach/practice, possible locations to have the dance classes if not at McPherson CAC, and the cost. As for cost, we propose charging 10,000 won per session, and we are available on Mondays at 5 pm to teach and coach the participants.
Please forward this idea to the activity leaders of the Union to see if there is interest in these dancing sessions.
