POSITION TITLE AND GRADE: Lead Cashier, KGS-0530-04
SALARY: Between13713-19568 Won per hour (Total hourly compensation when quarterly bonuses are included)
DUTY LOCATION: 51 FSS/Sustainment Services Flight, Officers’ Club, Osan AB.
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: All current USAFK employees assigned within 51st Officers’’ Club, Osan AB.
(Priority Group 5)
NOTE: Newly hired NAF employees are required to serve no less than one year in the position to which they are initially hired before they can voluntarily accept any other position unless approved by management.
MAJOR DUTIES: Maintains the flow and quality of work to assure timely accomplishment of assigned workload. Observes work performance and assists or instructs other employees in specific tasks and job techniques. Provides oral and written instructions and answers questions regarding work. Checks work in progress for compliance with instructions: corrects work deficiencies or calls these deficiencies to the attention of the club manager or the club operations supervisor. Trains all cashiers in their respective area in accordance with established operating instructions. Makes informal appraisal of performance of employees as requested. Performs duties of cashier during majority of scheduled hours. Assisted the club operations supervisor with schedules, payroll, ordering, the end of month paperwork and overview of slot machine paperwork. Oversees the cleanliness of the facility, timeliness of food deliveries and general customer service during assigned shifts. Maintains electronic files necessary to generate daily reports. Informs main cashier cage of requirements for change funds, times of deposits and reimbursement of slot fund. Works with main cage to insure all, financial paperwork is processed correctly and on time. Notifies club manager and the club operations when any funds shortages or deficiencies arise. Leads and guides the work of cashiers; answers questions and resolves problems. Answer telephones, take orders, setup and post delivery orders, reconcile change funds of deliverers. Supervise cashier and food deliverers. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: One year of general experience
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Progressively responsible work which indicates ability to acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Successfully completed education of two years above the high school level in a ROKG authorized or recognized college, university may be substituted for the experience required at grade KGS-4.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPETENCY: 1. The American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) score of 60 or above and successfully passing the English Comprehension Interview (ECI) is required.
2. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 430 or higher the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) score of 450 or higher may be substituted for ALCPT requirement. Applicant must submit the TOEFL/TOEIC official copies of test score. TOEFL and TOEIC scores are valid for two years from the exam date.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY (KSA’s): To be rated best qualified applicants must have demonstrated possession of the following KSA’s essential to the performance of the duties of the position:

Ability to effectively communicate orally with a diverse group of individuals, and provide prompt and courteous customer service.

Ability to operate a calculator and cash register; and work accurately with figures
